Learning digital art

Please hang with me as I work to learn how to use this site effectively.  Yes, I know I need to reduce the size of the Home pic but can't figure out how to get there. Any help is very welcomed!

So I drew this picture but I wanted to do something more with it

Several more layers

Very simple, I am sure, to some of you but I am a novice.  

What do you think?  Better when it was not as complex or do you like it as it now is?  I am undecided.  But the journey to get from one to the next was fun.

    I like the last one. I like the complexity of it. I think that it would look good in my room.!
