A House Guest at the Bijou

Glorious tree (picture taken without Matt)
My son and his wife (that is so odd to say) are on their honeymoon and I am keeping my grand-dog.  Matt is a rescue dog and is probably mixed pitbull and rottweiler. He has many scars and I cannot imagine anyone abusing such an agreeable dog. He never barks but occasionally cries--probably he misses his mommy and daddy!  He is very sweet and absolutely loves to go for a walk or perhaps I should say DRAG.  He drags me all around the neighborhood and I just hope he does not see a cat because I have been assured that he WILL chase a cat.  I have difficulty holding on to him without a distraction.

What's happening in the neighborhood?

Matt is wondering when I am going to get out of my chair and take him for a walk.

A Tunnel of Beauty
The leaves were floating to the ground and piling up on the sides of the street. It was very peaceful and beautiful.  The trees all around the neighborhood are simply breath-taking.  I hope it is the same where you live.

I am working on a painting that I hesitate to show because I really do not know how to execute what I want to do but here it is.  Any suggestions that you have are welcomed.  I am really going to make an effort to work on this piece this week BEFORE I go back to art class.

As always I would love to hear from you.  Leave a comment here (be sure you have clicked on the title and are on the web version rather than just email) or email me at Vickistyons@me.com

XOXO
