A Little Bit of Work

My sister offered some paper to me.  It wasn't just any ole paper but some nice French-made Arches 140 lb Natural White cold press paper.  So, of course i rushed right over to her house to get it but she had a hidden agenda.  I should have guessed.  We ended up rearranging part of her studio including her huge flat files.  Those suckers are really heavy!  The job got done, she was happy and I was happy I could be of help plus I got my lovely paper.

Tonight we had family dinner at Tantivy (my sister's house).  My BIL cooked a wonderful supper which included salmon that he had marinated.  It was delicious. My family is so sweet to always have something I can eat.

I have worked a bit on the paintings I showed you last time but they are NOT finished.  I am planning to paint a series of four and I have the start of two additional paintings.  They are 15 X 22.  I am having a great time trying to develop these paintings.

Stay tuned to see if I am able to finish these in any acceptable way.  I am looking forward to hearing what my teacher will say.  She gives excellent advice and is very encouraging.  Of course she has a tricky job because it is a class people take for fun and we have varying abilities.

I will be trying some different things in PS and am looking forward to showing you something next time.

Tomorrow I am picking up some rather beat-up file cabinets I bought.  The drawers are about the size to hold 4 X 6 note cards and I plan to organize art supplies in them... AFTER getting them cleaned up a bit.

Hope everyone is doing well. I would love to hear from you.
