Student Teaching

Oh no, I am not student teaching.  Been there. Done that.  Many, many eons ago.  However I am helping student teachers with an assessment they have to do.  It takes more than an hour to read and comment on each one.  They are due by midnight tonight.

My eye surgery which was scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed and while I understand that the doctor couldn't be there, I am disappointed as I was looking forward to having at vision out of each eye that is at least similar!

Almost 2 weeks later....
Whew! Got those assessments in and made my comments.  Now I need to watch their videos and read their reflections, which are due Sunday night and make comments!  Gotta say these students are working hard and from the few videos I have already watched, they are going a good job.  Teaching is not easy and the added requirements about how it should be done make the job even more difficult as these residents are discovering.  I am fortunate to be able to work with these students.

Eye surgery is scheduled for this Monday.  Yippee!

Perhaps these will not longer be so necessary!

In other news, evidently Brooklyn who gobbles her food in a nanosecond has put herself on a diet.
Yep, for the first time ever, she did not clean her bowl.

Going to an art show tomorrow night in Atlanta where my DIL has some work.  Here are some espresso cups she is selling along with her paintings.  Half of the proceeds from two of her paintings will go to Breast Cancer.
