However if you remember my last blog which was April 2, you will see that some progress has been made.
The water closet. The original door to the now demolished closet will be utilized as the pocket door. It has two panels, the others doors have four and six!
The cutout is for a stained glass window I have had for about 20 years and box below it will contain book shelves.
The lower shelves will accommodate some larger books.
Here is a transom, that was a surprise finding.
My house is crowded with tools and materials and covered in dust and dirt. Tomorrow evening the sheetrock will be sanded and I hope to vacuum and dust and scrub SOON! Every day I have had to make decisions about this room. Yesterday's included (but were not limited to) several about the paint and today there was a problem with a joist under where the sink drain needed to go and some trim decisions.
The painter is planning to be here on Thursday as rain is predicted that day. If he arrived with his sleeping bag a la Eldin, I will have the screaming memes!
Art class is tomorrow and I haven't accomplished anything for class. This has turned out to be a terrible time to be in a class. However I do enjoy the lectures and demonstrations very much!
It is looking so good. The beadboard is just right as are the colors you have chosen. It won't be too much longer now and I can hardly wait! (I can probably wait longer than you can, though!)
