Caroline and I went to a collage workshop with Anne Bagby which sounds so easy but somehow was very busy. We had lots of small projects on paper and then a larger one made of three 4X4 canvases. (the assignment was bigger, not the substrate) The assignment was to make three collages: one floral, one graphic and one self portrait. Hold on to your sides so you won't die from laughing because here are my three:
At the end of Oct., we are taking Anne Bagby's Queen workshop and we have homework to prepare. Yikes! We have been given faces to draw on the backs of business cards. Most are just people from magazines but I hope you will recognize this guy. He needs more work but I got tired of him! I'll probably make another attempt to get him right later in the week.
I'll post some of my business card drawing in a couple of days. It is difficult for me to draw so small. Meanwhile he is another guy I drew. I was looking for a man wearing a hat and this is what I found.

That Henry was a really big guy, wasn't he? I am trying from the color picture , working in my Moleskine. I have never drawn such a large person as King Hal.
ReplyDeleteLove your asterisk eyes. Starry eyes in a traveled face. I wouldn't have thought of that if I thought for days but it is so cute.
