Tenacity

I looked around my yard at flowers that should have already faded and given way to autumn and guess what?  Yep, they are still hanging on.  They have tenacity!

Taking a cue from the flora in my yard, I thought I should show tenacity with my art so I started two new projects today.

This was something done years ago on canvas and I am not even sure who painted it.

Here it is now with paint and Liquitex Blended Fibers.  I love the orange glow.  Unfortunately it is not apparent in person!  I hope to somehow bring out that glow.

This is another project.  I didn't realize there was such a shadow on the first picture.  Have added a bit more stamping since these pictures were taken.  No idea where I am going with these but the trip should be fun.

Please stay tuned as these project progress.  It is a bit scary as I am not taking a class right now and do not have my teacher to advise me.  Any comments are always welcomed either on the blog or at vickistyons@me.com.

XOXO

Vicki
