Not Quite Finished...But Close!

I think the bathroom will be finished very soon.  A couple of hooks, holders and lights are still on order but I have high hopes of using it tomorrow evening.  TOMORROW EVENING!!!  Okay right now the toilet has returned to the front porch but it should be installed for good tomorrow.  So here is a sneak peek at the update...
Old mirror--the glass is wavy

Stained glass window from the Raleigh Flea Market that I got about 20 years ago.  Shelves will go below it and the water closet is on the other side.

The floor tile is down and will be grouted tomorrow.

On Wednesday Caroline and I are going to take a two day paper "boot camp" from Anne Bagby in Winchester, TN which is about 2 hours away.  Love her work. Follow this link to see some of her work.  We will not actually make paper but will paint it. When you look at her work, you will see that the designs are very complex.  I am a bit intimidated but hope to learn and have fun doing so.

  2. Is the wall really that lovely mauvy-blue colour? I love the look of your bathroom, especially the stained glass transom. You had a special eye when you picked up that little treasure 20 years ago.

The flooring would be just the thing for a bee keeper!

  3. I hope you don't mind, Vicki, if I test my new Google profile image here. The pic of me is over a year old - so out with it. My son designed the new 'avatar'.

  5. I'm late to this "party", but I'm sorry, Kay that you all had to endure a shower-deprived Vicki for such a LONG time.
